A BIT ABOUT ME....

The sculpture of Marcel Camps expresses the experiences and feelings that arise as a reflection of human relationships with his environment. So, his work wants to relate the man and his body with the universe; an implementation beyond the borders of reality by moving into the sphere of transcendence. What interests him is to transform something fundamental into a higher state and he does so through a basic geometry and structural ordering of their volumes in relation to the space. Volumes constructed using basic shapes and primary structures, recreated through an order that occurs in rhythmic twists embedded in the manner of envelope strokes. The footprint of the memory and archaeological fossilizations gravitate in these works to reflect on conceptssuch as space and time.
